WHAT’S THE ANNOUNCEMENT?
- Atlassian set a 3-year plan to transition customers to Cloud and Data Center, beginning with stopping new sales of Server. Server licenses secured on or before Feb 2, 2021 can extend maintenance / support through Feb 2, 2024. Also, Server renewal and upgrade pricing is set to increase.
- Customers wanting a self-hosted option long term will have Data Center.
- Atlassian is offering incentives for Enterprise customers to move to Cloud or Data Center.
- On Feb 2, 2021, Data Center prices are set to increase, however it also comes with additional features.

STAY ON SERVER- Renew before Feb 2, 2021 when pricing increases.
- Defer your transition out of Server licensing between 2021 and 2024.
- If the expiration date of your existing server maintenance is after Feb 2, 2021, you can create a renewal, upgrade, or downgrade quote between Oct 29, 2020 and Feb 1, 2021 based on your existing pricing.

- Server licenses purchased before this date will be able buy three (3) years of continuing Maintenance / Support.
- Prices for Server renewals and upgrades go up. Data Center pricing updated.
- Year 1 Loyalty Discount to Cloud cut-off
- Server Maintenance & Support will only provide security bug-fixes for critical vulnerabilities going forward.
- Year 2 Loyalty Discount to Cloud cut-off

- End of Maintenance & Support for Server ends
PRICE INCREASES & YOU:
- Current Server Customers are either on A) Atlassian List Prices, or B) on Advantaged Plan Prices.
- If you own Jira Software Server, Jira Core Server, or Confluence Server and you initially purchased (new) Before October 3, 2019, you are on an Advantaged Pricing Plan. If it was after that date, you are currently paying Atlassian List Prices and will not be impacted by this price change.
- Advantaged Plan Price customers will have a New Advantaged Plan Price, which will increase closer to Atlassian List Price over time. The New Advantaged Plan Prices:
- If you own Bitbucket Server, Bamboo Server, Crowd Server, Jira Service Desk Server, Advanced Roadmaps Server, Team Calendars Server, or Questions for Confluence Server, you will receive an increase effective on renewals on or after February 2, 2021.
