How We Use and Share Your Information
 
As described above, we collect information from you so that we can provide products and services that you request and provide information that you request from us. We may use your personal information to:

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your personally identifiable information to third parties, except as follows: If the ownership of all or substantially all of our business changes or we otherwise transfer assets relating to our business or the Site to a third party, such as by merger, acquisition, bankruptcy proceeding or otherwise, we may share, transfer, or sell your personal information to the new owner. In such a case your information would remain subject to the promises made in the Privacy Policy in effect at that time. In addition, if we acquire another entity, we may share your information with our new corporate affiliate.

While we are happy to provide you the categories of information we have regarding you, to protect the security of your information we cannot provide you with certain information you may have provided to us including, for example, passwords, credit card information, and other account numbers.
 
Database Opt-Out
 
If you prefer that we do not store any data on you, we have provided a procedure that allows you to remove any records of yourself currently and thereafter. In order to “opt out,” you can ask us to delete any records by simply sending us an email at legal@trundl.com asking us to do so. If you do so, please provide your name and email address, and we will use best efforts to remove all records of you from our database. We may, however, retain a copy of the information for archival purposes, and to avoid identity theft or fraud.
 
Security Of Your Information
 
We use industry standard physical, technical and administrative security measures and safeguards to protect the confidentiality and security of your personal information. However, since the Internet is not a 100% secure environment, we cannot guarantee, ensure, or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us. Although we use industry standard practices to protect your information stored on our servers, there is no guarantee that information, including sensitive personal information, may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards. It is your responsibility to protect the security of your login information. Please note that e-mails and other communications you send to us through our Site are not encrypted, and we strongly advise you not to communicate any confidential information through these means. If you do so communicate any confidential information, you are talking the risk that the information may not be secure.

  7. Right to Data Portability: You have a right to request us to provide you with a copy of your personal data in electronic format and you can transmit that personal data for using another third-party’s product/service.
  8. Right Not to be Subject to Automated Decision-making: You have a right to not be subject to a decision based solely on automated decision making, including profiling.

The data provided by you as a Visitor, or when you sign up as a Customer/User or register for our Services will be processed by us for the purpose of rendering Services to you or in order to take steps prior to rendering such Services, at your request. Further, if you are a Customer/User, you hereby agree and acknowledge that you shall not, under any circumstances, whether directly or indirectly, use our Services to collect or process Special Categories of Personal Data or transfer to us any such data.

The term “Special Categories of Personal Data” shall have the meaning ascribed to it under the GDPR and shall include, without limitation, data pertaining to a data subject’s race, ethnic origin, genetics, political affiliations, biometrics, health or sexual orientation.

Your Rights Under Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011. Trundl adheres to the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 (SPDI Rules) to ensure your data is secure. Here’s how Trundl complies with the SPDI Rules:
The right to be informed and give consent Before Trundl collects any of your personal data, we will clearly explain what information we need, why we need it, and how we will use it. We will only collect your personal data with your explicit consent.
The right to access your data You have the right to request access to the personal information Trundl holds about you. This includes the ability to review and verify its accuracy and completeness.
The right to correct mistakes If you find any errors or missing information in your data held by Trundl, you have the right to request corrections. We will take reasonable steps to update your information promptly upon verification of your request.
The right to withdraw consent You can withdraw your consent for Trundl to process your sensitive personal data at any time. We will store any personal data we collect from you as long as it is necessary in order to facilitate your use of the Services and for ancillary legitimate and essential business purposes – these include, without limitation, for improving our Services, attending to technical issues, and dealing with disputes. Security of Your Personal Information.

  • We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures by using a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your data from unauthorized access, use, loss, destruction or disclosure. When we collect particularly sensitive data, it is encrypted using industry-standard cryptographic techniques including but not limited to SSL, TLS, RSA, and AES.
  • We adhere to the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard, an internationally recognized framework for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). Our commitment to ISO 27001 ensures that we follow rigorous security practices and maintain high standards for information security.

In compliance with the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, we adhere to the following reasonable security practices and procedures to protect your personal data:

Your Rights Under California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) Trundl complies with CCPA by giving you the five privacy rights for California consumers:

  2. You have a right to be informed about the manner in which any of your personal data is collected or used which we have endeavored to do by way of this Policy.
  3. The right to delete personal information collected from them.
  4. Trundl gives you the right to request us to delete your personal data.
  5. The right to opt-out of the sale of their personal information.
  6. The right to non-discrimination for exercising their CCPA rights.

Trundl does not sell any data of any of its users/customers/leads. Trundl assures no discrimination against consumers exercising their right of privacy under CCPA. Trundl assures that it will not ask for waiver of privacy rights from California consumers. California Privacy Rights
 
Under California’s “Shine the Light” law, California residents who provide personal information in obtaining products or services for personal, family or household use are entitled to request and obtain from us once-a-calendar-year information about the customer information we shared, if any, with other businesses for their own direct marketing uses. If applicable, this information would include the categories of customer information and the names and addresses of those businesses with which we shared customer information for the immediately prior calendar year (e.g. requests made in 2023 will receive information regarding the sharing activities done in 2022).
 
To obtain this information, please send an email message to legal@trundl.com with “Request for California Privacy Information” in the subject line and in the body of your message. We will provide the requested information to you at your e-mail address in response. Please be aware that not all information sharing is covered by the “Shine the Light” requirements and only information on covered sharing will be included in our response.
 
Consent To Data Processing In United States
 
Our Site is operated and managed on servers located and operated within the United States. By using and accessing our Site, residents and citizens of countries and jurisdictions outside of the United States agree and consent to the transfer to and processing of personal information on servers located in the United States, and that the protection of such information may be different than required under the laws of your residence or location.
