Beyond headline investments like Intel’s $20B semiconductor factory in Columbus under the CHIPS and Science Act, the state is witnessing the emergence of AI start-ups targeting manufacturing, alongside growth in the insurance industry and expansion of its world-renowned healthcare sector.
In fact, Northeast Ohio and the surrounding metro areas of Detroit, Pittsburgh, Columbus represent almost $1T in GDP—the economic equivalent of Turkey. Atlassian’s customer base in this region includes renowned companies like Key Bank, Parker Hannifin, Progressive Insurance, and the Cleveland Clinic, among others. Within a 200-mile radius, notable companies such as GM, Ford, Nationwide Insurance, M&T Bank, Duolingo, and many others contribute to the region’s vibrant economic landscape.
With the arrival of Trundl, expect an uptick in Atlassian events happening in Cleveland.
