Meaningful Work You’ll be Part of

Your expertise in Atlassian products and solutions will empower you to bring significant product, solution, and technical expertise to your projects, facilitating opportunities for business process reengineering. Alongside overseeing all engineering operations, you will spearhead the definition of process reviews, improvements, and creations, as well as work quality standards. Additionally, you will provide insightful coaching and foster the development of future leaders within the Canada region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build a strong engineering team based in Canada to expand Trundl’s operations in Canada. You will lead, support, and build an effective team of engineers by empowering them to achieve their goals and deliver value to our customers (both internal and external) and Atlassian.
  • Lead an ambitious engineering team to elevate every individual’s strength and enable career growth in software architecture, design, development, integration, and delivery domains.
  • Effectively manage resources based on their performance and output. Ensure that both hiring and termination are done based on the fair trial and as per the performance standard set by policies.
  • Spearhead the Atlassian tool solution design, architecture, and implementation with Trundl’s clients and lead the technical delivery of an Atlassian implementation’s custom development, integrations, and data migration elements.
  • Seek perspectives from the consulting technology groups (Architecture, Infrastructure, Cyber, and Tech Ops) to guarantee software solutions that suit the broader demands.
  • Help design internal delivery processes and allow end users by serving as a subject matter expert on all tool usage, standard methodology, and implementation.
  • Architect and document technical solutions that correspond with client business objectives and keep our customers informed and engaged throughout delivery.
  • Organize and manage client deliverables and expectations following the Statement of Work and the client’s requirements.
  • Develop client-focused marketing collateral and coach and train the project delivery team to achieve consistent performance and customer success.

Key Skills & Experience

  • At least 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in roles of increasing responsibility, preferably within the technology sector. This should encompass leadership in diverse areas such as organizational strategy and team management.
  • 8+ years of experience in administering, managing, and customizing the Atlassian suite of products like Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo.
  • Expertise in ITSM with relevant experience of 8+ years in Jira Service Management.
  • 3+ years of experience in Cloud stacks like AWS, MS Azure, and Google suite.
  • Experience in other Atlassian tools like Align, Compass, Fisheye, Crucible, OpsGenie, and Statuspage.
  • At least 3 ACP certifications are mandatory for this position.
  • Well versed in conducting Atlassian Server to Data Center Migration, Atlassian Server to Cloud Migration, Atlassian Data Center to Cloud Migration and legacy tools to Atlassian suite.
  • Experience in setting up and managing Advanced Roadmaps for Jira.
  • Strong technical skills in customizing and integrating Atlassian products to meet business needs.
  • Expertise in Atlassian Marketplace add-ons like Adaptavist Script Runner, EazyBI Reports & Charts for Jira, Tempo suite of products, ALM Structure, X-ray, Zephyr, Jira Misc. Workflow Extension, and Refined Themes for Jira.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, Python) for automation and customization.
  • Experience with plugin development and API integration.
  • Well-versed in Agile methodologies and how they apply to Atlassian tools.
